According to a new survey published today by the "Vaadim" company, which coordinates the information on the economic / social activity of the workers 'committees in Israel, this year the workers' committees and managements poured over NIS 4.5 billion into the shopping cart for workers for Passover, on gifts, shopping cards and digital gift cards.

Another surprising statistic shows that although the holiday is far from us and will only take place in a month, many workplaces have begun distributing gifts to employees, scheduling that is different from the usual and earlier than expected.

The survey re-rated the highlights of the holiday and reveals which workplaces will celebrate Pesach this year in a big way and where less so.

At the top of the ranking table, as always, are the strongest committees.

At the bottom are contractor and retiree workers and high-tech companies and start-ups are well placed in the middle.

"The landlord went crazy" - a larger budget for gifts

, notes that according to the survey that covered more than 1,800 jobs this year, it seems that "the landlord went crazy." And that the number of employees who will receive a holiday gift worth more than one thousand two hundred shekels is increasing this year.

60% will receive gift certificates or vouchers with monetary value

The survey also found that 40% of employees preferred to receive a tangible gift for the holiday, 38% preferred to receive shopping vouchers and 22% received the holiday gift in a dedicated app.

The survey examined and found that the budget funding for the purchase of the holiday gift came mostly from the employer, according to the following division: 75% fully funded by the employer, 7% funded by the workers' committee and 18% co-financed.
