The portal should benefit "
a few tens of thousands
" of French people, detailed the Ministry of Public Accounts to AFP.
Initially estimated at 38 million people, the number of potential beneficiaries of this aid launched in October has recently been revised slightly downwards by the government.
At the beginning of March, the Minister of Public Accounts Olivier Dussopt had indicated that “
36.7 million French people
” had already received the compensation, launched by the government to compensate for the marked resumption of inflation observed since the autumn.

The minister had pledged on Sud Radio to “
set up a platform so that those who have been forgotten, because their (bank) contact details were not available, can assert their rights
”.
Among these “
forgotten
” people were doubly eligible for the payment of the allowance, as well as certain people employed at home.
