ACSAD Director Dr. Nasr El-Din El-Obeid stressed that this training creates good opportunities for exchanging information between Arab grain and wheat experts and scientists, which will positively reflect on the efforts of Arab countries to narrow the gap between the increasing levels of production and consumption as a result of population growth, noting that the training also aims to improve the level of scientific competence. Theory and practice for trainees in the fields of wheat production, improving agricultural soil fertility, modernizing production methods in Arab countries, and benefiting from the experiences of ACSD.

And it requires intensification and development of work in all axes related to its production.

Over the course of five days, a number of ACSAD experts and researchers will give several lectures related to wheat production, breeding methods, genetic improvement, and the development of varieties with high productive efficiency and tolerant to biotic and abiotic stresses, the relationship of production to climatic changes, the foundations for characterizing grain crops, mechanisms for adopting varieties, and optimum methods for serving and nurturing grain crops to reach the highest level.
