Airbus: A380 performs several flights using cooking oil fuel

" in the process, according to the constructor.

Before reaching its “

zero carbon emission

” objective by 2050, the aircraft manufacturer is counting on this type of alternative fuel to reduce its emissions.

In its press release, it also specifies that its entire fleet is certified to fly with up to 50% “

sustainable aviation fuel

” mixed with kerosene.
