The results of the final final budget of the General Corporation for Chemical Industries showed that the total profits of its companies for the past year amounted to 18.3 billion pounds.
According to the foundation’s production and marketing report issued today, SANA obtained a copy of it, that the Arab Medical Company (Tamico) achieved the highest profit value among its subsidiaries, with a value of 7.1 billion pounds, followed by the General Company for Shoes, with a value of 3.3 billion pounds, and then the General Company for the Paints Industry (Umayya) with a value of 2.8 billion pounds. pound.
The Director-General of the General Organization for Chemical Industries, Dr. Osama Abu Fakhr, explained that the actual production value of the entire corporation's companies amounted to 48.6 billion pounds. (Tamico) obtained the largest part of the production value with about 23 billion pounds, the shoes company with about 11 billion pounds, then illiterate paints with a value of 7.1 billion pounds, with a rate of An improvement over last year, which amounted to 198 percent, which was then recorded at 24.6 billion pounds.
Abu Fakhr indicated in a statement to SANA representative that the value of companies’ sales last year amounted to 45.3 billion Syrian pounds, with an implementation rate of 129 percent out of the planned sales amounting to 35 billion pounds, where the highest sales value in Tamico was about 21 billion and the shoe company 11.5 billion Syrian pounds and illiterate paints 5.6 billion pounds.
He pointed out that the rate of development of sales of the Corporation's companies compared to the previous year amounted to 206 percent, which last year recorded about 21.9 billion pounds, pointing to the ambition of the Corporation and its companies to continue to provide public and private agencies and the local market with their high-quality products that conform to national standard specifications and at appropriate prices, despite the challenges. And the difficulties facing these companies as a result of the unjust blockade facing the country.
