Spain's ACS and Benetton ready to tear each other apart for Atlantia

The Italian motorway group could be the subject of a stock market battle between two takeover projects.


Court side, Florentino Pérez is the happy president of Real Madrid who crushed Wednesday (3-1) Chelsea in the quarter-finals of the Champions League in London.

On the garden side, he heads the Spanish construction and motorway giant, ACS, which is considering a huge operation.

In relation to the information published by a specialized media on the possible interest of ACS for Atlantia, we can confirm that ACS has an exclusive agreement with two large international investment funds (GIP and Brookfield) in the framework of which ACS would buy out the majority of the motorway concessions division
