Experts from the Arab Center for Studies of Dry Areas and Dry Lands (ACSAD) have discussed with the Islamic Development Bank Group and a team of specialized department managers the possible areas of cooperation between the two sides, especially the issue of implementing projects to improve wheat productivity in the Arab region.
During today's meeting, the two sides discussed, via video conference, the possibility of developing small ruminants in the Arab countries, and implementing a project to invest agricultural waste in providing fodder and improving the feed budget in Arab countries.
During the meeting, two points of contact were identified between the two sides with the aim of continuous communication and coordination to reach fruitful and useful cooperation in line with the goals and programs of both the organization and the Bank in sustainable development.
The meeting included ACSAD's Director General, Dr. Nasr El-Din Obeid, and the CEO of the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector in the Islamic Bank, Dr. Ayman Sejeni.
