Positive to Corona, negative to Israel: Isolated tourists in detention conditions
The State of Israel may be heading west, but it treats tourists who have been found positive for Corona as if it were China: there is no possibility of isolation in the hotel, the interaction is with the Home Front Command, ambulance prices are exorbitant and neglect is so hungry.

A., an elderly tourist from the USA, who lived in Egypt, decided to spend some exciting days in Israel in an organized group - and expected an experience of life in the Holy Land.
So the good news is that she had an unforgettable experience. A. She tells those who are willing to hear that she will never return to Israel again.
She received the results of the test at her hotel, and from here things started to deteriorate. With hundreds of shekels covered and transported directly to the Israeli government's Corona Hotel at the Dan Hotel in Jerusalem, from the moment she received the key to the room, the connection between her and the outside world was severed.
"This place is like a prison," she wrote to the organizer of her group.
"I can not get anyone at the reception, no one answers there. It is unacceptable. I feel like they threw and forgot us here."
She went on to write exclamations saved by phrasing, "We can not get anyone here," "We are not allowed to do the tests," "Does anyone know what is going on?".
Because it is Passover, and the hotel is kosher, guests were forbidden to order food from outside or get food from the group organizers, so they had to make do with three military cold meals, without milk, only with coffee, tea and hot water.
Since the products arrive at the hotel from an outside company, the patients had to exist for half a day from a matzah package, until the delivery arrived and if they were hungry, there was no one to talk to, because there was no answer at the reception.

Pay $ 7,700 and fly away
A brain surgeon from Puerto Rico, who managed to survive the "captivity period" in Israeli isolation, was waiting for the result of the test that was supposed to release him and send him free, that is, for a flight home.
He waited and waited, but the release letter was reluctant to arrive.
"We had to buy new tickets home and since the prices are sky high, we had to pay $ 7,700," he wrote to his team organizer.
"We are waiting for the letter and are afraid we will miss the flight."
Indeed, the flight was missed, as it was scheduled to take off on Saturday and there was no doctor to sign the release letter.
"We were waiting for tourists from abroad to come here and the State of Israel treats them disgracefully," says
Yossi Fattal, director general of the Chamber of Inbound Tourism Organizers
.
"It starts with landing at Ben Gurion Airport.
Tourists wait a day at the hotel because the company that won the testing tender does not allow for four-hour speed tests for an additional fee.
It turns out that a person who comes here for five days, has to spend a whole day waiting for the test results at the hotel.
In the instruction we received, we need to transfer the verified by ambulance to the motel.
Because there is no supervision, prices are sky high. "

Who needs taxi drivers when there are ambulances?
When the media publishes reports of taxi drivers who "stung" tourists at exorbitant prices, we all chuckle and are disgusted by the ugly Israeli, but even those taxi drivers are righteous compared to what is done in private ambulance services, because the prices tourists pay for a private ambulance, which is considered much cheaper than "Med" A, scandalous: When a hotel was at the Dan Panorama Hotel in Tel Aviv, a trip within the city cost NIS 450.
A trip within Jerusalem climbs to NIS 750, because the ambulances come from Tel Aviv.
An ambulance from Tel Aviv to a hotel in Jerusalem will cost NIS 1,700 and from Kiryat Shmona to Jerusalem a tourist will also pay NIS 8,000.
Fattal: "I can not understand why the nationals are not allowed to stay in the hotel they booked and do the isolation there. The law stipulates that they must enter the isolation in a motel under the supervision of soldiers. It is a malfunction that the tourists interface
A
uniform that threatens him with fines, as if they were in captivity.
The verified hotel supervised.
"And the big absurdity is that the stay in hotels is supposed to be at the expense of the tourists, only the state does not know how to collect the money from them, so we all pay for this poor isolation."
There is also a black market for "hiding apartments": we will not report you to the Ministry of Health, but at least you can be alone without the Home Front Command (Photo: ShutterStock)
And how is it possible without Israbloff?
It turns out that there is another option, which circumvents the law and the reporting obligation to the Ministry of Health.
"If a tourist gets infected during a stay in the country," says an experienced tourist
, "we do not report him and communicate independently with a company that gives him the option to be in a vacation apartment and takes care of close medical care and a release letter when the test is negative.
There is no one to buy them for them, and the holiday apartments take care of all their shortages. "
Do the health authorities know this is happening?
"I guess so. They turn a blind eye."
