It's an explosion.
Netflix saw its stock price plummet 25% after the close on Tuesday.
It must be said that the platform had never announced losing subscribers over the past ten years.
And yet Netflix saw 200,000 of them soar in the first quarter.
The loss is minimal – 0.09% – compared to the almost 222 million subscribers to the platform, but significant for investors.
A fall which follows a longer one: in six months, the action has lost almost 60% in six months.
The message is clear: Netflix must reinvent itself.
