Gold prices in the local market decreased by three thousand pounds per gram from its price recorded yesterday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsmen Association for Crafting and Making Jewelery in Damascus today, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a selling price of 208 thousand Syrian pounds and a purchase price of 207,500 pounds, while a gram of 18 karat selling price reached 178286 pounds and a purchase price of 177786 pounds.
The association asked craftsmen to abide by the price issued by it, calling on citizens wishing to buy gold not to pay for it except according to the bulletin issued by the association and distributed phone numbers for complaints 2248005 and 0991937718.
