Train drivers, station agents, maintenance technicians... SNCF unveiled its recruitment objectives for the year 2022 on its Transilien network on Monday.

” contract with Île-de-France Mobilités to the renewal of rolling stock – requiring significant technical skills – this recruitment campaign should enable the railway company to pursue its strategy of constant service improvements travelers, she assures.

In its press release, the group details the workforce sought in each of the positions.
Thus, 200 train and tram-train driver positions are to be filled, 150 as sales staff in the station, 150 train maintenance technicians, 40 production agents and finally 60 executives with an engineering or information system profile.
Some job offers do not require a diploma, such as station sales agents responsible for ensuring passenger satisfaction.
Others, such as train shunters, only require the Diplôme National du Brevet.
For more technical functions, most of the diplomas with a minimum of BAC+2 are required.
SNCF also offers 4 to 12 month training courses for train and tram-train drivers.
Finally, the group says it is strengthening its inclusion system by welcoming around 300 young people and around fifty adults in retraining or with disabilities from the start of the 2022 school year.
