In the prestigious three-star category, the "Inn at Little Washington", by American chef Patrick O'Connell, remains alone at the top.

This restaurant, located in the countryside of the state of Virginia, just over an hour from the federal capital, offers haute cuisine made with locally harvested products and prepared according to European influences.

For the two stars are confirmed "Minibar" of the very media chef José Andrés, "Pineapple and Pearls", where Aaron Silverman officiates and "Jônt" whose brigade is directed by Ryan Ratino.

The four new entrants are each rewarded with a star.

They testify to the diversity of tables in Washington, which is part of a small club of American cities to have a dedicated red guide, such as New York, Chicago or San Francisco.

These are "Albi", where chef Michael Rafidi offers Eastern Mediterranean dishes, "Imperfecto: The Chef's Table" by Venezuelan Enrique Limardo, "Oyster Oyster", where chef Rob Rubba specializes in vegetarian dishes and “Reverie”, a contemporary gastronomy establishment where Johnny Spero is in the kitchen.
