New York, SANA- Oil prices rose about 1.5 percent, to record, upon settlement, the second consecutive weekly increase

Oil prices rose about 1.5 percent, to record the second consecutive weekly increase at settlement.

According to Reuters, Brent crude futures rose $1.49, or 1.3 percent, to settle at $112.39 a barrel.

US West Texas Intermediate crude jumped $1.51, or 1.4 percent, to $109.77 a barrel.
