Today the European stock market recovered from its lowest level in two months.

Reuters reported that the European Stoxx 600 index ended the trading session up 0.6 percent, and the Nasdaq Composite Index, weighted by technology shares on Wall Street, plunged more than 4 percent in the previous session, before recovering in today's session.

The benchmark Stoxx 600 index fell 6.7 percent.
