An increase of 16 cents in one day, after filling the tank… The U express service station in Nieul, in Haute-Vienne, posted this Saturday May 7 and Sunday May 8 the highest diesel price in the department, exceeding the 2 euro mark.
“The day before, we were one of the cheapest resorts in the department.
From 1.859 euros per liter at the end of the week, we went to 2.019 euros.
We are forced to pass on the price increases, ”explains Jean-Pierre Chrétien, a 54-year-old gas station attendant, faithful to the post for thirty years, witness to successive increases.
