Cryptocurrencies recorded a sharp decline in trading, and Bitcoin and Ethereum emerged as the most affected currencies after losses of more than 10 percent.
According to the Investing website, Bitcoin fell 10.62 percent to $30,423, and Ethereum fell 11.26 percent to $2,249, down from an all-time high of $69,000 in November last year.
The market capitalization of Bitcoin declined to $581.5 billion, while the market value of Ethereum recorded about $271.47 billion.
Over the past 7 days, Bitcoin lost about 20.55 percent of its value, while Ethereum lost about 20.58 percent.
