Natural gas prices in Europe rose during today's trading by 20 percent, and blue fuel futures contracts exceeded the level of 1200 dollars per thousand cubic meters.
And the media reported that the gas futures contracts for the month of next June on the index of the largest European center TTF rose today by 20.9 percent and reached the level of $ 1233.9 per thousand cubic meters.
Natural gas prices in Europe are on the rise after the Ukrainian Natural Gas Transport Company announced that, as of yesterday, the transport of Russian gas to Europe on one of the routes through Ukrainian territory will stop.
According to expert estimates, natural gas supplies from Russia to Europe through Ukraine will decline by about a third as a result of this decision by the Ukrainian authorities, noting that Gazprom continued to pump gas through Ukrainian territory normally even after the launch of the special military operation.
