The branch of the Syrian Grain Corporation in Hama has allocated 8 centers to receive wheat from farmers, distributed in different regions of the governorate.
And the director of the Foundation’s branch, Engineer Walid Jakeesh, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the Shatah, Suqaylabiyah, Jubb Ramleh, Salhab, Mahrada, and Kafr Behem centers were approved to receive the dumma wheat, while two centers in Hama and Salamiyah were approved for the bagged ones.
He pointed out that the branch is taking the necessary preparations for the success of the marketing season, including comprehensive maintenance work for silos, cleaning of cells and ventilation operations, where the domes have been calibrated, laboratories, conveyor belts and surface winches have been carried out, in addition to carrying out maintenance for the Kfarbhum silo, which has a capacity of 85,000 tons, which included the electronic control hall and conveyors that feed Storage cells and increasing the efficiency of sieves for sorting different types of grain by replacing and rehabilitating sections of them.
