Oil prices fell today, giving up their previous gains, as investors took profits after the price hike in the previous session.
Reuters reported that Brent crude futures fell 64 cents, or 0.6 percent, to $110.91 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell 60 cents, or 0.5 percent, to $109.89 a barrel.
The two benchmarks, which jumped about four percent last Friday, rose by more than one dollar a barrel, with West Texas Intermediate crude reaching its highest level since the 28th of March to 111.71 dollars.
