Minister of Industry Ziad Sobhi Sabbagh asked the management of the General Organization for Engineering Industries to work to rehabilitate the Syrian-Ukrainian company “Solaric” to produce photovoltaic collectors according to modern advanced technology in coordination and cooperation with the Ministry of Electricity. To manufacture photovoltaic collectors to support the government's orientations to rely on renewable energies to generate electricity, especially after the issuance of the judicial ruling in the Solarik case by virtue of execution so that the entire company belongs to the Syrian state.
During the meeting, they discussed the need to intensify investment plans in a way that targets companies according to priority and need, the importance of checking the actual profit figures, and reviewing the offers submitted to rehabilitate a number of companies affiliated with the Engineering Corporation.
