Former Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl is stepping down from her position on the supervisory board of Russian gas giant Rosneft.
The news agency Reuters reports without naming sources.
This follows the step taken by ex-Chancellor Gerhard Schröder and Matthias Warnig, a German businessman.
Last week, the European Union increased the pressure on Kneissl and other former politicians who still work for Russian energy companies.
Direct sanctions are being discussed.
The draft resolution is supported by a broad coalition of Conservatives, Liberals, Greens and Social Democrats in the EU Parliament.
Kneissl, who worked for the FPÖ as Foreign Minister between 2017 and 2019, has previously been a member of the Rosneft supervisory board.
She also maintained close ties with Russia's President Vladimir Putin - who was the guest of honor at her wedding in 2018.
It was only in March 2022 that she ended up on their black list for disinformation, targeted destabilization of Western democracies and influence from abroad.
