The Russian currency continues to record gains against its American and European counterparts, despite the Western sanctions imposed on Moscow, which affected various economic sectors, as the ruble recorded its highest level against the dollar today.
Data for the Moscow Stock Exchange, reported by the Russian RT website, showed that the dollar was trading below the level of 59 rubles and the euro below the level of 62 rubles.
According to these data, the dollar exchange rate fell 1.51 rubles to 58.72 rubles, while the euro exchange rate fell 1.33 rubles to 61.47 rubles.
