Bulgarian and Safed for NIS 1.90: Are the rumors about the crazy operation true?

We too heard about the unprecedented semi-free sale ahead of weeks, so we had to check it out for ourselves.

Tnuva and Tzuriel farm cheeses are sold for NIS 1.90 per 100 grams, Noam yellow cheese for only NIS 2.90 per 100 grams and there are also specials in the meat, fish, alcohol and home decor department.

Like many Israelis, we too were looking for low-priced cheeses ahead of Pentecost around the corner.

The rumor of a crazy sale - cheeses for NIS 1.90 per 100 grams in a semi-free chain, also reached us, so we came to check it out. The

chain does offer cheeses for NIS 1.90, from the brands Piraeus Tnuva and Meshek Tzuriel.

As part of the campaign, Bulgarian and Safed cheeses will be sold for NIS 1.90 per 100 grams, while Noam Terra yellow cheese, cream cheeses flavored with Gad dairies and Gouda from Euro Europe dairies will be sold for NIS 2.90 per 100 grams.

During our visit to one of the chain's branches, we met Chai Schwartz, the culinary director of the Tzuriel farm, to show us how to put together a winning holiday table.

"We are before Shavuot, a holiday that revolves around the world of cheeses and we are preparing for this holiday with two very popular cheeses - Bulgarian cheese and Safed cheese. They have good uses in both platters, sandwiches and baking."

We asked Schwartz what the perfect cheese platter is for him: "The ultimate cheese platter includes hard, soft cheeses, cow's milk and also goat's milk. This combination gives a fragrance of flavors, it's a winning meal."

Orit Shalom-Beg, VP of Marketing and Trade at the semi-free chain, added: "For Shavuot, I invite everyone to come to the semi-free branches and enjoy a very wide range of unprecedented deals in all departments - the cheese deli, butcher shop, fresh fish department, bakery and more.

We reduced the shopping basket significantly for weeks with crazy specials such as Safed and Bulgarian cheese from Tnuva or Tzuriel for only NIS 1.90 per 100 grams or Gouda cheese from Euro European Dairies, yellow from Noam Tara and Gad cream cheese for only NIS 2.90. H. per 100 grams.

At the butchers you can find fresh and quality entrecote steak for only NIS 99 per kg instead of NIS 149 per kg and lots of other great deals.

In short, we made sure that in every department and on every shelf there will be lots of specials on everything you need for Shavuot.

As you probably understood, in addition to cheeses, in the chain's branches you will also find specials in the other departments, such as the meat, fish, alcohol department and also in the home design department called the 2nd floor, where you will find a wide variety of holiday gifts and holiday table accessories.
