The General Company for Metallurgical Industries “Barada” issued a new price list for electrical household appliances, according to the new costs of production inputs, and less than their counterparts by 20%.
The price list that SANA obtained a copy of included: an updated 24-foot refrigerator, silver color, at a price of 1.860 million pounds, a white refrigerator 1.785 million pounds, a 22-foot silver refrigerator, 1.650 million pounds, a 22-foot white refrigerator 1.575 million pounds, a 12-foot silver refrigerator, 1.090 million pounds, and 12 refrigerators White foot 1.050 million pounds.
The list also included the prices of an 8 kg automatic washing machine, a white color of 2,700 million pounds, a semi-automatic washing machine with a capacity of 8 kg, a white color of 635,000 pounds, a 2000-watt vacuum cleaner at a price of 310,000 pounds, and an electric fan with a controller for 203,000 pounds.
The general manager of the company, Engineer Ali Abbas, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the new price list issued by the company came based on a study of the costs of production inputs from raw materials and others that rose as a result of global economic developments in addition to the conditions of the unjust economic siege imposed on the country, stressing that these products are still lower Of its counterparts in the local market, up to 20 percent, in the interest of the company to positively intervene in the market of household electrical appliances, and not to raise the prices of products more by other producing companies.
Eng. Abbas explained that all the company's products conform to the Syrian standard specifications and enjoy high quality, in addition to the company's after-sales service and guarantee of its products, indicating the company's keenness to continue diversifying its products and meeting the entire family's needs of household electrical appliances.
He pointed out that the company’s products are available in installments for state employees in the Syrian trade halls and in the company’s sales halls for workers in the domicile country whose salaries are with the real estate bank, and in the two halls of the Building Materials Trading Corporation “Al-Imran” in Lattakia and Jableh for all workers in the state.
