Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov announced that the reasons for the acceleration in inflation rates in most Western countries are due to the irresponsible actions of the financial authorities in those countries during the Corona virus pandemic.
"The sanctions imposed on Russia, announced by the West, have further aggravated the situation," Siluanov was quoted by TASS news agency as saying.
And the exacerbation of inflation recently with the imposition of Western countries, including the European Union and the United States, unprecedented sanctions on Russia, which is one of the major producers of energy resources and exporters of wheat in the world.
It is noteworthy that global food prices began to rise since the beginning of the year 2021, as a result of the irresponsible policy pursued by Western central banks during the past years, as they deliberately pumped tens of trillions of unsupported dollars, euros and pounds sterling into Western economies, which fueled inflation.
