Russian data showed that the ruble reached its highest level last month against the US dollar compared to other currencies in the world, despite Western economic measures imposed on Moscow.
And data for the Moscow Stock Exchange, reported by RIA Novosti agency today, showed that the ruble exchange rate on the Moscow Stock Exchange rose against the dollar by 15.4 percent last May.
For its part, the American Bloomberg Agency considered that the ruble became the leading currency in the world in terms of strength against the dollar in 2022. The agency indicated that the exchange rate of the Russian currency rose since the beginning of this year until mid-May by 11 percent against the American currency.
