The 17th edition of the Food and Packaging Industries Exhibition Food Expo 2022, organized by the Delta Group for International Exhibitions and Conferences, in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and with the support of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, the Chamber of Industry in Damascus and its countryside, and the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Agriculture, will start tomorrow in the exhibition city in Damascus.
The exhibition, which continues until the 8th of this month, will be attended by national food industries companies, including cones, oils, fats, dairy, cheese, and other companies specialized in foodstuffs, packaging machines and lines, and agricultural products intended for manufacture and export.
The CEO of the Delta Group, organizing the exhibition, Ghiath Shammaa, considered that the exhibition constitutes an opportunity for businessmen, industrialists, wholesalers, exporters, importers, stakeholders and those interested to learn about the latest ideas and innovations, conclude deals, and shed light on ways to activate the commercial movement to facilitate the definition of these products from the supplier to the source and the consumer, pointing out that it was directed Invitations to specialized businessmen from Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq and the Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture and their federations in these countries.
The exhibition activities during its third day include a food industries forum entitled “obstacles and solutions towards a competitive food product” with the participation of a number of ministers and stakeholders from the industrial and commercial chambers and owners of national food companies to discuss and discuss the reality of food industries in Syria and listen to the problems and obstacles facing the owners of companies with regard to the supply of materials It provides the production requirements, production and export processes, and access with the stakeholders to decisions or procedures that achieve the best competitiveness of the national food industry.
The exhibition activities also include a workshop on quality management systems related to food safety “HACCP”, which will be held during the fourth day of the forum, with the participation of a number of quality consultants and experts who will review the latest developments related to food safety quality systems globally.
