Next Tuesday, the activities of the 19th edition of the International Building Exhibition “Buildex 2022” will start with the participation of 265 local, Arab and foreign companies spread over 150 pavilions, in the exhibition city on the road to Damascus International Airport.
The participating companies display their products from building and construction materials, air-conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration equipment, solar energy devices, water technologies, the environment, stone, marble, paint, insulation materials, security and safety systems, lighting and others.
General Director of the Arab Group for Exhibitions, Eng. Alaa Hilal, confirmed in a statement to SANA reporter that the exhibition attracts manufacturers, suppliers, workers in the construction and contracting sector, elite businessmen in Syria and the region, and delegations from the Syndicates of Engineers and Contractors from various governorates, pointing out that the exhibition is a real incubator for presenting the graduation projects of the first and distinguished students, which It was nominated by the faculties of Syrian universities associated with the specialty of the exhibition.
Hilal considered that the exhibition opens a new window to challenge the economic sanctions imposed on the Syrian people and a space for exchanging ideas to develop the national economy.
It is noteworthy that the exhibition will start on the 14th of this month and will continue until the 18th of this month, with the provision of free transportation for visitors by buses that depart from the areas of the President Bridge and Bab Touma Square around the clock throughout the days of the exhibition.
