Three weeks before the end of its 2021-2022 financial year, Pernod Ricard confirmed on Wednesday that it expects a new record.
After a 10% increase last year, its turnover has already jumped 18% over the first nine months of the financial year.
While the group has taken full advantage of the strong recovery in activity around the world, the future is uncertain, as the clouds are gathering.
“We have entered a new world order, with a difficult political context,
recalls Alexandre Ricard, CEO of the world number two in spirits.
The volatility is here to stay and you have to be extremely agile.”

The group remains optimistic, however, and has even raised its medium-term ambitions for annual growth in its turnover, now targeting
“the upper part of the range of 4 to 7%”
