The administrative court of Clermont-Ferrand had ordered on May 23 the suspension for two months of a 4G antenna, suspected by Frédéric Sagères, a breeder from Mazeyrat d'Allier, in Haute-Loire, of harming the health of his herd.
The court had given the state and the operators three months to carry out the interruption and organize security and emergency calls in the affected area.
Since the installation of this antenna, in July 2021, Frédéric Sagères, whose herd is located around 200 meters away, says he has lost around forty cows out of 200, noting at the same time a significant drop in his milk production.
During the court hearing, the legal expert mandated by the Puy-en-Velay court ruled in favor of a temporary interruption.

" growing of the 1500 inhabitants of the village.
Lawyers for Orange, Free and Bouygues Telecom had highlighted the lack of scientific evidence establishing a link between animal health and electromagnetic fields.
A spokesperson for Orange specified that the antenna had been installed as part of the "
New deal
" operation, an agreement signed in 2018 between the State and the operators to generalize mobile coverage to all French.
