The number of investors in the Chinese stock market rose by 1.2 million on a monthly basis, according to new data released today.
Xinhua News Agency stated that the data issued by the China Central Depository and Clearing Corporation Ltd. showed that the number of investors in the Chinese stock market rose to 204.91 million at the end of last May.
In the first five months of this year, China saw an increase of 7.5 million investors in the stock market, according to the new data.
