222 billion pounds, sales of the Feed Corporation, since the beginning of the year

The volume of sales of the General Foundation for Feed since the beginning of the year until today reached 191104 tons, worth 222 billion Syrian pounds, and the amount of purchases reached 147,460 tons, about 158 ​​billion Syrian pounds.

The Director General of the Corporation, Abdul Karim Shabat, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the production of manufactured fodder materials by the corporation’s factories amounted to 19,000 tons, while it was contracted to purchase 40,000 tons of yellow corn at a value of 67.6 billion Syrian pounds, 20161 tons of which were received, and a contract to purchase 7 Thousands of tons of soybean meal, worth 17.5 billion Syrian pounds, were received in full. Also, 16 thousand tons of yellow corn and 9 thousand tons of soybean meal were received from the corporation's share from importers.

Shabat affirmed that the Corporation is working to secure the public sector’s need for feed materials for poultry, beef and production projects, noting that the Corporation has opened several feed cycles since the beginning of the year, including a feed cycle for sheep and goats with a high rate of 10 kg per head, two cycles for poultry and cows, a feed cycle for fish and a monthly fodder cycle for horses Registered and eligible for registration and forage cycle for buffaloes.
