The activities and activities of the Petersburg International Economic Forum kicked off today in St. Petersburg, with the participation of several foreign and Arab countries.

The forum will be held this week in its twenty-fifth edition from June 15-18, and the event attracts more than 13,500 participants from 141 regions and countries in the world.

The forum is an effective platform for exchanging opinions and experiences between policy makers, officials and representatives of the business sector from different countries of the world who attend the forum, taking into account the rules of health prevention and using modern digital technologies.

According to the data of the event’s organizing body, the Ross Congress Foundation, a large number of ministers and representatives of foreign and Arab countries are participating in the event, while Yury Ushakov, the assistant to the Russian President, indicated that President Vladimir Putin will deliver a speech at the plenary session of the forum, which will be held next Friday, on ensuring further economic development. Russia in light of Western sanctions imposed on it and its impact on the global economy.

It is noteworthy that in 2021 the Petersburg International Economic Forum became the first and largest trade event in the world to be held face to face after the outbreak of the Corona virus crisis in the world.
