New York - Sana
Today, US natural gas futures regained part of the sharp losses they suffered in the previous session, with the focus returning to a jump in demand amid heat waves.
According to Reuters, gas contracts for July delivery ended the trading session up by about 23 cents, or 3.2 percent, to record at the settlement of $ 7.420 per million British heat units, after recording in Tuesday's session the lowest closing level since the ninth of May.
Although prices fell 17 percent in yesterday's session, US gas futures are still about 103 percent higher than their level at the beginning of the year.
