Despite the increase in detergent prices with the increase in raw materials and production inputs, the products of the General Company for the Chemical Detergent Industry (SAR) are still less than their counterparts in the market by about 20%, while maintaining their known quality.
The general manager of the chemical company, Hisham Al-Farij, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the demand for the company’s products is great by all parties, which led to an increase in the quantities of its sales, which recorded during the first five months of this year 266 tons of various types of products, with a value of 1.282 billion Syrian pounds, with an increase rate of 273 percent. for the same period last year.
Al-Farij pointed out that the company has not stopped developing and diversifying its products, as it recently launched a new group of soaps and liquid detergents, which has been widely accepted by citizens due to its competitive prices, which are produced according to national standard specifications, while adhering to the ratios of active substances included in each product, in addition to its long history in the market. Syrian and its high reliability.
Al-Farij confirmed that the company has continued to work on production lines in its temporary rented headquarters in the Glass Company since 2015, while working on developing some production lines and purchasing equipment to develop the existing working mechanism. sterilizers.
The company produces more than 15 types of various detergents and works to secure its raw materials from the local market despite the instability of the prices of these materials.
