A rocket fell on Saturday near a gas complex in northern Iraq, the third in 72 hours, without causing injuries or material damage, we learned from local officials.

The unclaimed attack targeted the Kor Mor gas complex, which is owned by Dana Gas, an energy firm in the United Arab Emirates, Sediq Mohammed, head of the Qadr Qaram district which adjoins the complex, told AFP.
The gas field is located between the cities of Kirkuk and Suleimaniyah, in an area managed by the authorities of the autonomous region of Kurdistan of Iraq.
“The rocket (of the Katyusha type) fell about 500 meters from the complex.
It caused no injuries and did not damage the installations,” said Mr. Mohammed.
The anti-terrorist services of the province of Souleimaniyeh, in Kurdistan of Iraq, confirmed in a press release that there had been no casualties or damage.
On Wednesday and Friday, two unclaimed rocket attacks targeted the same gas complex, again without causing injuries or material damage.
In recent weeks, hydrocarbon exploitation sites located in Iraqi Kurdistan have been the target of rocket attacks, which have not been claimed.
