At the conclusion of the two-day workshop, which was held at the General Federation of Trade Unions building, the participants pointed out the importance of the role of youth centers and development institutions in introducing them to professional and academic options to push them into the labor market according to specialization and skill and to create correct data to document the requirements and needs of the labor market and strive to preserve hands. skilled and trained personnel by improving their income and expediting the issuance of relevant legislation.

The participants’ discussions focused on knowledge economies and how to transfer to them and transfer technology to develop the labor market and enhance the economy based on knowledge, skills and digital competencies necessary for the local and regional labor market, noting the difficulties of moving to a knowledge economy within the capabilities currently available due to the lack of a clear policy to achieve this trend and the lack of ability to keep pace with this Transformation and entry into the knowledge economy.

The workshop was attended by Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Muhammad Saif al-Din, President of the General Federation of Trade Unions Jamal al-Qadri, members of the Executive Office of the Federation, heads of professional federations, Dr. Jumaa Hijazi, Director of the Labor Observatory for Studies and Research, and a number of academics and specialized researchers.
