The traditional market, a new model for mass distribution?
The success of the Grand Frais brand has convinced its competitors to invest in the fresh produce market.
The Spac of the trio Xavier Niel, Matthieu Pigasse and Moez-Alexandre Zouari, now 60% controlled by InVivo Retail, should soon have around a hundred "Grand Marché-Frais d'ici" stores, dedicated as their name suggests to this type of product.

The Casino group also believes that a place is up for grabs.
Grand Frais is a specialist that expresses its offer in stores the size of a supermarket.

"no one has yet preempted fresh produce in this way, among general food brands,"
said Tina Schuler, general manager of Casino Supermarkets, Géant and proximity.

Almost all of the Casino Group's 61 Giants will therefore be renamed "Casino #hyperFrais" at the end of the year.
The first four will open this Wednesday.
The offer will evolve accordingly.
