The Russian ruble continued its gains against the American and European currencies in today's trading, and recorded new levels.
The Russian RT channel reported that the dollar's exchange rate fell today by 16 kopecks and reached 53.20 rubles, and the euro exchange rate fell by 21 kopecks to 65.08 rubles, according to Moscow Stock Exchange data.
The index of the Moscow Stock Exchange denominated in rubles "MISEX" decreased by 0.70 percent to 2,400.10 points, while the index of the Moscow Stock Exchange denominated in dollars decreased by 0.39 percent to 1422.53 points.
