The annual flower exhibition in its 42nd session, which is organized by the Ministry of Tourism in cooperation with the Governorate of Damascus, hosts special pavilions for beekeepers' products and their work requirements in Tishreen Park.

A number of beekeepers indicated that their participation in the exhibition is an opportunity to introduce their products of honey and medicinal materials extracted from beeswax or to which honey and propolis have been added, which are currently in great demand in the market due to the advantages that Syrian honey has due to the diversity of pastures.

In a statement to SANA’s reporter, the owner of a bee products company, Issam Kallas, described his first participation in the exhibition as being of quality, which is to introduce the company’s products, exchange experiences with other producers, and identify market needs by meeting with visitors to the exhibition directly, explaining that his company focuses on the production of honey and propolis, where fingers are made. Or a powder that can be dissolved and used as an antibiotic that raises the body's immunity.

For his part, the engineer, Mohamed Samer Al Rabat, who is interested in beekeeping and production, indicated that he displays a number of products, including pollen, propolis and royal food, in addition to cosmetics and shampoos that contain natural materials from honey. To work after they overcame many difficulties imposed by the terrorist war on Syria and greatly affected the work of beekeepers.

A number of visitors to the exhibition confirmed that, in addition to the social and recreational atmosphere and getting to know the types of flowers, they invest in visiting the exhibition to buy natural products from the product directly. Both Muhammad Al-Qasim and Mai Badour pointed out that they benefited from sales discounts and encouraging competitive prices offered during the exhibition period.

Maryam Al-Sheikh, who lives in Deir ez-Zor, explained that she visits Damascus during the exhibition period to buy natural products of honey, aromatic plants and other natural products at reasonable prices.
