Cooling off in Parisian swimming pools may be difficult this summer.
The CGT has filed a strike notice for lifeguards, which runs from July 1 to August 31.
Not all municipal swimming pools in Paris will be affected simultaneously, but there will always be a risk of finding the door closed for the Parisian eager for freshness.
The lifeguards denounce their working conditions, and in particular the increase in their working time to 35 hours.
