The standoff continues between the management of the Aéroports de Paris (ADP) group and the unions.
After the mess last weekend at Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle and to a lesser extent at Orly, the possibility of a new strike still hovers over the days of Friday 8, Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 July.
This is the first big weekend of vacation departures, for which the unions have filed a new strike notice.
“It all depends on the management, insists Fabrice Michaud, general secretary of CGT Transports.
So far, their proposals are unsatisfactory.
“After the failure of negotiations with the unions last Friday, refusing a general increase of 4%, the management of ADP decided, this Monday, unilateral measures “to immediately give purchasing power to employees” .
" It's not acceptable "
Since July 1, it includes a general increase of 1.5%, and an “additional increase” of up to 5% for the lowest salaries.
“It leads to all employees returning to their 2019 remuneration from July 1, 2022. Initially, this return was only to take place on January 1, 2024 under the so-called
Pact measures
(work contract adaptation plan),
agreed in July 2021”, we boast to the management.
The employees had, at that time, agreed to a 5% pay cut.
As for the firefighters, whose strike greatly affects the ability to secure the tracks, the management has acted "a specific revaluation" of the first remuneration index of 9.9%.
So many gestures, presented this Tuesday to the various unions, which do not satisfy the representatives of the employees, braced on their demands: they want to obtain a general increase of 6%.
“The additional increase sold by management are bonuses, which stop on January 1, 2024!
This amounts to a 2019 salary freeze. This is not acceptable, ”annoys Rachid Eddaidj, CFE-CGC ADP general secretary.
The unions hope to reopen negotiations in the coming hours to find a way out of the crisis.
