If we isolate Faurecia in the new Forvia group, the seat specialist saw its turnover jump by 9%, to 697 million euros.
For its part, the world leader in bumpers and tailgates increased its sales by 4.3% to 4.3 billion.

In the first half, it was down 14% in the European Union and 18% in the United States.
But if they achieved good commercial performances, these two equipment manufacturers do not have the same financial success.
Faurecia posted an operating margin of 3.7%, to 426 million, against 6.6% a year earlier (510 million).
Plastic Omnium also saw its operating margin erode, dropping from 6.2% to 4.6%.
