The head of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, stressed that there are five reasons why the dollar is losing its global positions, and that the process of declining its position has begun and can no longer be stopped.
Russia Today website quoted Volodin as saying today in a post on his private channel on the Telegram application that these reasons are related to the fact that the dollar does not have any cover from real goods or resources, since after the withdrawal of the United States from the Bretton Woods agreement, the dollar is no longer linked to gold and the printing press of American dollars has become Unconstrained In addition to the use of the dollar as an instrument of political warfare as well as geopolitical changes as the unipolar global model has exhausted itself and there are increasing demands for multipolarity in the world.
Volodin pointed out that the fourth reason is Washington's unwillingness to admit its mistakes and then work to solve them, in addition to the cyclical nature of history, as there is a recurring historical pattern for each global currency and its own period of about 100 years.
