The affair surrounding the outgoing director of Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb) is a volt richer.
According to SPIEGEL information, another manager of the station was released with immediate effect.
This is Verena Formen-Mohr, head of the main department of management of the rbb.
At the broadcaster, she was responsible, among other things, for the ARD community facilities, corporate planning and management of the projects for the new construction of the cross-media news center and the digital media house of rbb.
Close confidants of Schlesinger
Within rbb, Formen-Mohr was considered a close confidant of Schlesinger.
When she was elected rbb director in 2016, she moved from the NDR to Berlin, where she was initially responsible for strategic tasks as an editor.
Most recently, she was also the managing director on the executive floor of the rbb subsidiary »rbb Media«.
A spokesman confirmed the exemption from all offices to the SPIEGEL, beyond that one did not want to comment.
