Gas prices in Europe recorded a new rise of 7 percent to exceed $2,200 per thousand cubic metres.
According to the results of the trading of the London Stock Exchange, the price of the futures contracts for the month of September at the TTV center in the Netherlands rose to 2210 dollars per 1000 cubic meters or 207.03 euros per megawatt hour “based on the current exchange rate of the euro against the US dollar.”
The total increase in the cost of gas since the beginning of the day amounted to 7.7 percent.
