The head of the Damascus and Rural Chamber of Industry, Dr. Samer Al-Dibs, discussed with the commercial attaché at the Iraqi embassy in Damascus Khattab Ali Ismail the mechanism of economic and commercial cooperation and ways of flowing Syrian goods to Iraqi markets.
During the meeting, in the Chamber of Industry, marketing mechanisms between the two sides were discussed, which would support the national economy, organize general and specialized exhibitions and sell markets for the products of the two countries within exhibitions held in them, in addition to securing the shipment of Syrian goods to Iraq and solving the problems facing the process of exchanging goods.
It was also agreed to recognize certificates of origin that are certified by both the Chamber of Industry and the Iraqi Embassy in Damascus, otherwise they will be rejected by the border crossings, at the request of the Iraqi authorities.
The meeting was attended by the Chamber's Vice-President, Adeeb Kabbour, and a member of the Chamber's Board of Directors, Talal Qala Ji.
