Data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers showed that the country's exports of cars reached a new monthly record level in July of this year.
Xinhua quoted the association as saying that Chinese auto companies exported about 290,000 units of cars last month, up 67 percent year on year and 16.5 percent month on month.
The total exports of new energy vehicles last July amounted to 54,000 units, an increase of about 90 percent over last June.
During the past seven months of 2022, car exports amounted to about 1.51 million units, and the association estimated that car exports for the whole year might exceed 2.4 million units.
