The almost stable unemployment rate in the 2nd quarter at 7.4%, according to the latest figures from INSEE.
It is 0.8 points lower than its level a year earlier, and 0.9 points below its level before the health crisis (end of 2019).
This is its lowest level since the beginning of 2008, if we exclude the one-off "trompe-l'œil" drop in spring 2020, during the first confinement.
