Oil prices fell in global markets today amid fears of a global recession.
Reuters reported that Brent crude futures fell 1.3 percent to $93.89 a barrel, and West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell 0.9 percent to $88.57 a barrel.
Markets are awaiting industry data on US crude stocks due later today, while a preliminary poll conducted by Reuters yesterday showed that oil stocks likely fell last week, while distillate stocks rose.
